• Heartland, Country, Rock? Call them whatever you want them to be. From the heart of London, Backwoods Creek bring something most others shy away from. Unashamedly ready to make you sing, laugh and cry, this quintet is picking up the pieces and putting them back together, one show at a time.

    Starting out in late 2016, The Creek have been blazing their own unique trail playing shows ranging from a sold out night at The Jazz Cafe, to the Teddy Rocks Festival, to 2 venue-filled slots at AEG's Country2Country Festival.

    2018 saw The Creek Boys release 2 top 5 charting singles, 'Keep Off The Grass' & 'When I Grow Up', the latter winning BCMA's video of the year award; only to follow up with their debut EP 'It's About Time', the band are well on their way to world domination.

    Support for the evening will be Emily Faye....who with the help of her bandmates and the relentless support of her family, has successfully begun to make her mark within the ever-changing industry and is now in demand as one of the UK's most exciting new country artists. Having travelled to the home of country music - Nashville, Tennessee - last year to record her debut EP 'Here I Am' released in April 2018, and named as one of Rolling Stone Country's 'Top Ten Artists You Need To Know' at the end of 2017, Emily Faye is certainly a name to look out for.

  • Rebecca Riedtmann writes and plays enchanting Americana and soulful blues. She has recently released her debut album; a collection of powerfully intimate songs featuring Rebecca's heartfelt lyrics and smoky delivery. The album is complemented by a wide range of instrumentation and fine performances by her fellow musicians, including pedal steel player David Rothon of much-loved UK country-rockers Redlands Palomino Company and harp from Tom Moth of the world-conquering Florence + the Machine.Surrey-based Rebecca has been establishing her unique place on the UK Americana scene over the last few years. Recent performances have included appearances on BBC1 and at The Black Deer Festival; The Half Moon, Putney; Pizza Express Live, Holborn; The Spice of Life, Soho; The Sound Lounge, Tooting and The Bedford, Balham. She was also featured among artists to look out for in 2018 by BBC journalist-broadcaster Paul Sexton.
  • Saints Of Sin have been delivering their brand of excessive Hard Rock debauchery since 2013 and the party hasn’t stopped yet! The band are based on the South Coast of England but have been busy touring the rest of the country since their formation. The motley crew of lost boys features brothers Marcus ‘Sparxx’ Jenkins on guitar and Ash Jenkins on bass, Rui Brito on vocals, Josh Rose on Drums and newest member Sophie Burrell also on guitar. Saints Of Sin have a little something for everybody and it is this that keeps them moving up the ladder on the gigging circuit. Their achievements include slots at The Isle Of Wight Festival, Hard Rock Hell, 02 Academy and two headline shows at The Telford International Centre.

Playing the majority of the instruments on her albums herself, Emma has achieved four consecutive play-listed singles on BBC Radio 2, extensive international radio play in the UK, Europe and Australia, an iTunes single of the week with her song "Riptide", sold out headline shows and supported The Feeling, Take That, Wet Wet Wet, Train, Albert Lee and Simply Red to name a few!   • Ben Pryer & The Lucky Dogs are the UK's finest vintage Rock & Roll trio today. Being rated one of the youngest (and best!) Vintage Rock 'n' Roll bands in the UK, It's not difficult to see how Ben Pryer & The Lucky Dogs have turned more than a few heads since forming in 2017. With their youthful energy and charismatic charm, Ben Pryer & The Lucky Dogs quite literally take you back in time to the 'Golden Decades' of the 1950's and 1960's. Support for the evening will be local musician Kieran Blackmore.

An original project with a 5-piece band plus backing singers, led by the charismatic voice of Paul Cox who has a reputation as one of Britain’s finest Blues/Soul singers. Paul has worked or recorded with the likes of RAY CHARLES, ERIC CLAPTON, PAUL RODGERS, GARY BROOKER, SNOWY WHITE, SAM BROWN & BONNIE TYLER.

Mixing feel good vibes and infectious beats from artist's like Bassment Jaxx, Mousse T, Crystal Waters and Daft Punk. Brighton based funkers who will get you moving with smooth vocals from Jody Findley and Tobias Ratcliffe backed by a class band. Some will have seen them at The Rec Rooms before and those that did know just how good they are. This terrific band are no strangers to huge gigs and festivals and will have you up and dancing for sure!

    Grace Nichols has written widely for both adults and children. Her first collection of poetry, I Is A Long-Memoried Woman won the 1983 Commonwealth Poetry Prize. Among her other books are the popular The Fat Black Woman’s Poems, Sunris - winner of the Guyana Poetry Prize, I Have Crossed an Ocean and Picasso, I Want My Face Back, inspired by her residency at the Tate Gallery, London 1999 -2000. She is among the poets on the current GCSE syllabus and received the Cholmondeley Award in 2000, as well as an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Hull. Her latest adult book is The Insomnia Poems (Bloodaxe 2017).
