Forming in May of 1992, David Devant & His Spirit Wife are an indie/art rock band from Brighton. Named after the famous English Magician, David Devant is a band unafraid to take theatrical and musical risks and it shows.
David Devant made a name for themselves in the 90s English rock scene, alongside more mainstream bands like Radiohead and Coldplay, and released their first full length album in 1997 with Work, Lovelife, Miscellaneous. Their legendary live shows were a thrilling mix of glam rock, art pop and music hall theatrics.

Medicine Head was a British blues rock band, their biggest single success was in 1973, with "One and One Is One," a Number 3-hit on the UK Singles Chart. The group recorded six original albums; the opening trio of which were on John Peel's Dandelion label. John Peel saw John Fiddler and Peter Hope-Evans perform at the Lafayette Club and later shared their music with John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Pete Townshend. At Lennon's insistence, the duo was signed by Dandelion Records.
In more recent years John was a member of  British Lions and Box of Frogs, and has released solo material including a 1995 album, Return of the Buffalo. He has occasionally revived the Medicine Head name, to tour a show of their hits and to release further low-key recordings.
