Rebecca Riedtmann writes and plays enchanting Americana and soulful blues. She has recently released her debut album; a collection of powerfully intimate songs featuring Rebecca's heartfelt lyrics and smoky delivery. The album is complemented by a wide range of instrumentation and fine performances by her fellow musicians, including pedal steel player David Rothon of much-loved UK country-rockers Redlands Palomino Company and harp from Tom Moth of the world-conquering Florence + the Machine.Surrey-based Rebecca has been establishing her unique place on the UK Americana scene over the last few years. Recent performances have included appearances on BBC1 and at The Black Deer Festival; The Half Moon, Putney; Pizza Express Live, Holborn; The Spice of Life, Soho; The Sound Lounge, Tooting and The Bedford, Balham. She was also featured among artists to look out for in 2018 by BBC journalist-broadcaster Paul Sexton.
British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emma Stevens first picked up a guitar at the age of two and has since learnt cello, piano, banjo, ukulele and mandolin. Playing the majority of the instruments on her albums herself, Emma has achieved four consecutive play-listed singles on BBC Radio 2, extensive international radio play in the UK, Europe and Australia, an iTunes single of the week with her song "Riptide", sold out headline shows and supported The Feeling, Take That, Wet Wet Wet, Train, Albert Lee and Simply Red to name a few! Emma music has also been used on a TV show in China which was broadcast to 75 million people!

History of House are a live band that recreate some the funkiest dance anthems from the 90's to today. Mixing feel good vibes and infectious beats from artist's like Bassment Jaxx, Mousse T, Crystal Waters and Daft Punk. Brighton based funkers who will get you moving with smooth vocals from Jody Findley and Tobias Ratcliffe backed by a class band.
Some will have seen them at The Rec Rooms before and those that did know just how good they are. This terrific band are no strangers to huge gigs and festivals and will have you up and dancing for sure!

Saints Of Sin have been delivering their brand of excessive Hard Rock debauchery since 2013 and the party hasn’t stopped yet! The band are based on the South Coast of England but have been busy touring the rest of the country since their formation. The motley crew of lost boys features brothers Marcus ‘Sparxx’ Jenkins on guitar and Ash Jenkins on bass, Rui Brito on vocals, Josh Rose on Drums and newest member Sophie Burrell also on guitar.
Saints Of Sin have a little something for everybody and it is this that keeps them moving up the ladder on the gigging circuit. Their achievements include slots at The Isle Of Wight Festival, Hard Rock Hell, 02 Academy and two headline shows at The Telford International Centre.
The fantastic Corduroy are coming to The Rec Rooms.
Corduroy are a four-piece acid jazz outfit based in London, formed around twins Ben Addison (drums/vocals) and Scott Addison (keyboards/vocals), who were previously in Sire Records act Boys Wonder (Scott had been guitarist with Boys Wonder, while Ben had been the lead vocalist). Joining the twins in the band are Richard Searle and guitarist Simon Nelson-Smith. Searle had been bass player with Doctor and the Medics, who topped the UK Singles Chart in 1986 with a cover version of "Spirit in the Sky". Searle had joined the Addison twins in the final incarnation of Boys Wonder, before the band gradually evolved into Corduroy in 1991, initially forming for a one-off New Year's Eve party.
When four amazingly talented musicians such as John Lawrence, Mark Wilkinson, Darren Redick and Gar Lando are fronted by the electrifying vocals of Stacey Cronin, you have the awesome Asylum Affair.
Formed in January 2009, the highly entertaining Asylum Affair are a superb Classic Rock covers band, wringing everything out of their lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards/sax, drums and female lead vocals lineup.

Matthew Jeffrey "Matt" Richardson (born 28 May 1991) is an English comedian and broadcaster, best known as a co-presenter on the ITV2 spin-off show The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack in 2013.In 2016, Richardson became the drive time presenter on the digital radio station Virgin Radio UK. Richardson has co-presented Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live and Celebrity Haunted Mansion with Christine Lampard on UKTV's W channel.
Nominated for The Leicester Mercury Comedian of the year in 2016, Travis Jay is a stand-up, actor and radio presenter who has been performing on the comedy circuit since 2009.
After winning the Jumpoff TV Comedy competition in 2012 he went on to perform for BBC 1xtra and made an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Stephen K Amos’ Life: an Idiot’s Guide. Travis is currently a radio presenter for ‘The Vibe’ on The Beat London Radio station.

John is still the current lead vocalist & guitarist for The Yardbirds but plays tonight with his undeniable talented band - what a legend to grace The Rec Rooms stage.
John Idan, who is originally from Detroit, Michigan, discovered his musical talent at an early age.
Following his high school band, he soon started playing with his first professional band 'The Natural Blues Band' making himself a name around Detroit and southeast Michigan. After the break-up of the Natural Blues Band Idan went on a holiday to London during which he met former Yardbirds' guitarist Top Topham and drummer Jim McCarty.
In 1988 he moved to the UK to become the singer and lead guitarist of their blues band. Idan soon became known as 'Detroit' John Idan on the London, blues scene.

Known for their world class musicianship and high energy performances, Bamboozle seamlessly combine the vibe of the swinging 1950's with the sounds of today, in a way that mesmerises both retro loving and modern audiences.
The band combines internationally renowned singer/guitarist/songwriter Jim Knowler (The Keytones, Gotz Alsmann), injecting his exciting and instantly recognisable guitar riffs, with new face on the scene, singer/bassist/songwriter Serena Sykes, lighting up the stage with her dynamic performances, electric vocal and daring double bass stunts, backed by the slick, thrumming grooves of drummer/vocalist Les Curtis (Imelda May, Darrell Higham, Wanda Jackson).

We just had to bring back Megan, dubbed ‘The Irish Carrie Underwood’ (The Irish Times) as she stole our hearts back in April to critical acclaim. She has teamed up with long time friend, Jake Morrell who you would think has come straight out of Nashville!
British Country band Ashton Lane have a romantic back-story and come from fine musical stock. They are husband and wife duo Esther and Tim O'Connor and they are part of a new wave of homegrown modern country music originating in the UK.

Grace Nichols has written widely for both adults and children. Her first collection of poetry, I Is A Long-Memoried Woman won the 1983 Commonwealth Poetry Prize. Among her other books are the popular The Fat Black Woman’s Poems, Sunris - winner of the Guyana Poetry Prize, I Have Crossed an Ocean and Picasso, I Want My Face Back, inspired by her residency at the Tate Gallery, London 1999 -2000. She is among the poets on the current GCSE syllabus and received the Cholmondeley Award in 2000, as well as an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Hull. Her latest adult book is The Insomnia Poems (Bloodaxe 2017).

The group recorded six albums prior to securing a major record deal. They signed to the East/West record label, the home of rock band The Darkness. The band came to the attention of label executive Korda Marshall, who heard the group's music played by members of The Darkness whilst on tour. GLC went on to support The Darkness in the latter stages of their UK tour.

Peter Donegan is the son of Lonnie Donegan, the ‘Godfather of British Rock n Roll’ and the ‘King Of Skiffle’ Lonnie inspired every British Invasion band from The Beatles to Led Zeppelin. Even The White Stripes’ Jack White cites Lonnie as one of his major influences. All this runs through Peter’s veins and is clearly evident in his live performances, as well as the studio.
After an amazing 2018 xmas event the boys are back. It might be to soon to be thinking about the 14th of December, but these 300 tickets will sell fast.
